"Felt embarrassed trying to get Shopify set up"
Getting Customify to work with my Shopify store was way more frustrating than I expected. The products weren’t syncing properly, some of the options looked weird, and I kept having to mess with settings just to fix basic things. I felt kind of embarrassed because I thought it would be a quick setup, but I ended up spending way too much time trying to figure it out. Support did respond eventually, but it was slow. I really just wanted it to work without turning into such a headache...

Not gonna lie, Customify works well and the customization options are definitely useful. I didn’t really have any issues with how it functions, but for smaller orders, the price feels a little hard to justify.

If you’re using it all the time, I can see the value making more sense. For me, it was fine overall, just not something I’d be super eager to pay for again.

"I liked the general idea and it works..."
I liked the general idea and it works fine for the basics, but I was expecting a lot more customization. Some simple things weren’t easy to change without using workarounds, which got frustrating quickly. It’s not terrible, but if you want more control, it feels a bit limited.

"Kept running into theme issues"
I tried getting it set up with my theme, but things just didn’t line up right. After poking around a bit, I started noticing the same compatibility problems showing up in a few places, so it felt like it just wasn’t playing nicely with my setup

"Worked well on my phone"
I tried using customify.co on my phone and it was a smooth experience overall. The pages loaded quickly, and the design tool was simple enough to figure out without much hassle. I did notice a small bit of lag at one point, but it wasn’t a big deal. I’d say it’s worth trying if you want to customize something from your phone.

"Turned out good, I think?"
The print file came out nice overall. The colors were close to what I expected, and the lines looked clean, so that was a relief. I did have to adjust one small thing, which confused me a bit at first, but it wasn’t a big deal. In the end, I’m happy with how it turned out.

"Takes way too long to load"
the pages just take forever to load and I keep sitting there waiting and waiting, it gets frustrating when all I want to do is open something quickly.

"Support was quick, but the setup annoyed me"
I ran into a dumb issue while setting up my product options, and I’m still annoyed because it felt like something that should’ve been clearer from the start. I wasn’t even sure if I messed it up or if the instructions were just lacking, so I ended up messaging support.

To be fair, they got back to me faster than I expected, within a few hours, and explained it in simple steps. It worked after that, but I’m not giving 5 stars because I had to ask a follow-up just to fully understand something that shouldn’t have been that confusing in the first place.

"Maybe it’s just me, but it was hard to figure out"
I was trying to set up what I thought would be a simple custom product, and I got confused faster than I expected. Maybe I’m missing something obvious, but the menus didn’t feel very clear to me, and even small changes seemed to take way more clicks than they should. I kept bouncing back and forth just trying to find basic settings. I’m sure it might be easier once you know your way around, but for me it ended up feeling frustrating and not very user-friendly.

"Setup was a headache from the start"
I had a rough time just trying to get Customify set up. The steps looked simple enough at first, so I figured it would be quick... but then things just kept not working properly on my store.

The support docs didn’t help much either. They explain the obvious stuff, but then somehow skip over the exact parts where you actually get stuck. I kept going back, guessing, changing something, trying again, yeah, not fun.

After spending way more time on it than I should have, I just gave up. Maybe it works smoothly for other people, I don’t know, but for me the setup was a mess from the start.

The live preview was mostly spot on, which was nice. It gave me a good idea of what to expect without any surprises.

Customify was easy to use once I spent about a little time going through the tutorials. The docs helped me set up most things on my own without needing to contact support. A few parts could be explained better, but overall it worked fine for my store.

"Bug was fixed, but it took too long"
I had a frustrating issue where my custom product options weren’t showing correctly. Support did eventually fix it, which I appreciate, but it took longer than I expected and I had to follow up twice to keep things moving. The app seems to be working fine now, but the whole process left me a bit annoyed. I just wish they were quicker and more proactive when dealing with bugs.

"We tried Customify because we were hoping it..."
We tried Customify because we were hoping it would help our product pages convert better, but after a few weeks our sales were pretty much the same, maybe even slightly down. The setup itself was fine, but it’s hard to describe — the extra steps just seemed to make the buying process feel a little less straightforward for some customers. It wasn’t a terrible experience or anything, just not really worth it for us in the end.

"Easy to manage orders overall"
I had a good experience using it to handle my orders. The order management was simple to follow, and everything made sense for the most part. There was one small delay when the status didn’t update right away, which felt preventable, but it wasn’t a huge issue. Overall, it worked well for what I needed.

"I was a little confused by how few..."
I was a little confused by how few personalization choices there were. I expected more ways to customize it, but the options felt really limited, which was kind of disappointing.

"Pretty dependable for day-to-day use"
I’ve been using Customify for a while now, and overall it’s been steady. Most days I don’t even think about it, which is what I want from something running in the background for my store. Pages load fine, orders come through, and I’m not constantly checking if something broke.

There was one short stretch last month where things felt a bit slower than usual, especially when I was updating a couple product options, but it cleared up without me having to do much. It’s not absolutely perfect, but it’s been reliable enough that I’m comfortable sticking with it. Solid 4 stars from me...

I found the design tool simple to figure out and use. It did lag a little here and there, but nothing too frustrating or enough to stop me from getting things done. Overall, a smooth experience with just a small hiccup now and then
